“As an athlete who has worked out almost every day for over thirty years, as one who competed in football, gymnastics, pole vaulting and Tae Kwon Do, and as one who in addition to weight workouts practices yoga and is a runner, I thought I knew a good deal about training. I thought I knew a good deal about health and bringing my body into balance. But in January of 2014 a skiing accident left me with a partial tear of my right MCL and the knowledge that I had ruptured my left ACL some five years previously. I needed help to rehabilitate my right knee and much deeper strategies for stabilizing my left over the long term.

Ana initially engaged with me about my injury, but also about my workout habits and routine, my diet, health, my work life, my stress levels and my short and long term goals. Then over the next several months Ana designed and led me through a program that not only rehabilitated my injured knee, but also introduced me to a whole world of new workout techniques. Over the last two years Ana has synthesized what she knows about my needs with her broad knowledge of anatomy, traditional, and non-traditional training methods (like TRX, kettle bells, capoeira and battle ropes), to create bespoke workouts that have consistently challenged me, improved my balance, flexibility, and strengthened core muscle groups. In fact, because she knows that I'm quite consistent with my private workouts, we have never done the same workout twice. For someone who has worked out as long as I have the ability of even a master trainer like Ana to create 50 unique workouts for one high functioning athlete is something of a marvel. Simply put: she's the best.”
